• slide back cover upwards

• put 2x AAA batteries inside

• zigbee2mqtt: permit join

• hold reset for 5 seconds (until LED blinks)

• zigbee2mqtt: rename device to window_1

Verify

• homeassistant

• hit e for entity search

• open window_1 Door

• put parts next to each other

  • LED blinks once

  • Contact: true

  • Status: Closed

• separate parts from each other

  • LED blinks once

  • Contact: false

  • Status: Open
